OK you have had that PC of yours for how long? Ever wonder why it is slowing down?
Well the simple answer could be, it's time to re-install the operating system and perhaps remove a virus or two. Oh yes, let's not forget the spy ware that's lurking in the system. Oh you have a good antivirus program! Well then, here is a bit of free help.
1. Try installing any of these little free programs (TESTED SAFE)
SpyBot Search & Destroy
Ad-Aware 2007 Free
SUPERAntispyware
AVG Free Antivirus and Spyware removal
OK now that you have the rest of the ones you did not have. Oh I am sorry, you're only using one or two? Well then get on with it and load the rest. Update them and run them. (One at a time)
NOTE: only allow one antivirus grogram to be installed on your system or you could have some problems. BUT if you want to run a couple of Spyware programs (Only on active protection-that is running in the task bar) then do it. If you run at least three Spyware programs (Again-ONE AT A TIME) you will see what has been missed. And folks, please stop with the quick check mode. Open the program and run the LONG test. Ave a cup of coffee or whatever you wish while your system is cleaned.

Don't worry if one or more of the little PC demons they find cannot be cleaned, that's why I am here!
Seriously, you may find that some of the problems cannot be fixed, cleaned or removed any other way than to delete the file it is attached to. Just delete it. If your system does not load up and you get a message like No OS……at least your data is no longer being shares on the internet.
